The fourth annual TEDxNavesink. The conference, the Shore’s version of the viral TED talks series, is scheduled for April 9 at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. And the this year’s theme will focus on makers, building on a groundswell of do-it-yourself enthusiasts and crowdfunded entrepreneurs.

The hope is that people will “hear about ideas that hopefully will inspire them and give them hope for themselves and the future of the community and the world,” said Gail Woods, TEDxNavesink’s curation director, who helps select speakers.
