Play Time, Family Dinner More Important than Homework at NJ School 

Good news for kids at a Woodbridge elementary school–no homework! Well, not exactly. The school is testing the importance of homework by giving less of it.

According to NJ.com, the goal of the project is to make school work at home a more meaningful experience. The principal admonished students to focus on play, eating with their family, and taking care of chores with less busy work.

Princeton University topped list of best colleges in U.S.

New Jersey has 7 of the Best National Colleges

The Garden State boasts a lot of brainpower, having seven of our colleges ranked among the best colleges in the nation, according to U.S. News.

Princeton University held onto the top spot again of the annual report. Other Jersey schools included Montclair State, Rutgers, NJIT, and Seton Hall.

New Jersey Tops Nation in Millennials Living at Home

Maybe this isn’t good news for New Jersey, at least not for parents. According to Census data, NJ tops the nation in Millennials living at home, at 47 percent.

Don’t worry. It’s not just Jersey. It seems to be a Tri-State thing, as New York and Connecticut were tied for second. Maybe it has something to do with the cost of living in these parts.

This Meadowlands facility will become a Nickelodeon theme park.

Largest Indoor Theme Park in America Coming to Meadowlands

Looks like North Jersey is finally getting a theme park to rival Six Flags. A Nickelodeon-themed park will be developed at the American Dream Meadowlands facility, according to a NJ.com report.

It’s expected to be the largest indoor theme park in the Western Hemisphere at 8.5 acres. It will feature rides and attractions based on Nickelodeon characters. It’s expected to open in 2018.
